9th Annual Halloween Family Fun Festival in Downtown Loveland

LOVELAND, CO – Dress up the family and head into town for some Halloween fun!
In its 9th year, the Loveland Museum/Gallery is celebrating the annual Halloween Family Fun Festival, while downtown businesses celebrate the annual Downtown Trick-or-Treating. Join us in Peters Park next to the Museum/Gallery on Saturday, October 30 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM for this fun-filled community event, with downtown trick-or-treating running simultaneously.

The 9th Annual Halloween Family Fun Festival will feature live entertainment, crafts and activities for kids, food and a costume contest for all ages with categories ranging from infants to adults. This event will run rain, snow or shine- if needed the event will be moved into the Museum. Downtown Trick-or-Treating will also be open to youngsters at most downtown businesses, identified by signs in their windows.

Craft and activity booths for kids of all ages will be provided by several local organizations and businesses. Activity booths will be run by American Legion Post 15, Bond Chiropractic and Rehabilitation, Chick-fil-A, Chilson Recreation Center, Clear Channel Radio, Early Childhood Council of Larimer County, Larimer County Garbage Garage, The Loveland Connection, Loveland Fire & Rescue and Loveland Police Department, Loveland Public Library, Lutheran Family Services of Colorado, McKee Medical Center, Nick-N-Willy’s Pizza, Northern Colorado Kids.Com, Old Navy, Safe Kids of Larimer County, Sonic, Thompson School District, Townsquare Media, United Way of Larimer County, YMCA of the Rockies.

Live entertainment will be provided by Peter Davison from 10:00 am – 12:15 pm. Lunch will also be available for a small fee from Loveland Luncheon Optimist Club.
Dress in your best Halloween Costume and enter the contest to win great prizes. Judges will vote depending on audience reaction and their own opinion. Enter your costume by registering at the Costume Contest Booth on the day of the event. You MUST register your costume before 12:15 PM. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Baby age 1 and under; Ages 2&3; Ages 4&5; Ages 6&7; Ages8&9; Ages 10-12; Teen (ages 13-18); Adult (ages 19 and up); Family Theme.

Please note: 5th Street will be CLOSED between Cleveland and Lincoln on Saturday, October 30 from 7 AM - 4 PM for the event. The public parking lot on the southwest corner of Lincoln and 5th will also be closed for the event.
