Larimer Humane Society (www.larimerhumane.org) is seeking volunteers for “Bone-Anza,” its 12th annual Top Cat & Tails Gala. The event, to be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010 beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Marriott in Fort Collins, benefits the nearly 12,000 lost, stray, orphaned and injured domestic and wild animals that are entrusted to Larimer Humane Society each year.
Volunteers are needed to assist with program lighting, coat check, calendar sales, and the live auction. Live auction volunteers have the option of assisting with paddle raiser and modeling/acting live auction skits.
Volunteers must be at least sixteen years of age. Volunteers are requested to wear a white or black button-down or dress shirt; new, dark jeans or black dress pants; and cowboy boots or dark shoes. Shifts are between three and five hours in length and times vary throughout the evening. All volunteers will receive dinner and dessert.
